Mindful Creativity for Health

A six-week course for anyone living with chronic health challenges.

In these sessions, we will use adapted and embodied mindfulness practices to reconnect with ourselves and the present moment in a way that is supportive and comfortable. The aim is to feel safer, to notice what is happening; accepting what is in order to let go of the ‘shoulds’ and enable self-regulation.

We will explore mindful photography and journalling to nourish and express ourselves.

Mindful photography is the practice of looking, and looking again, at what is close to us; seeing our surroundings, our environment and our situation with new eyes. We use the camera as a tool to intentionally decide what we want to capture
– slowly and with care. When we use the non-verbal it can be surprising and powerful to find how much we can process and discover this way.

This course runs online and in-person.
